Abby
Why mountaineering and climbing? Because it: takes me to beautiful wild places; makes my heart, lungs and muscles work; challenges and inspires me; takes me away from noise, pollution, cash machines and pavements and it calms my mind
Why yoga? It also calms my mind, keeps my body balanced, challenges me, keeps me feeling alive and well. I have practiced yoga since childhood and I obtained my first yoga qualification in 2004 - Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training, Union Yoga Centre, Edinburgh and then in 2006 I took Level 2 Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training, Union Yoga Centre, Edinburgh.
Why I like to teach? I enjoy people improving or giving them an experience which refreshes or inspires them. I have two teaching qualifications: TEFLA RSA/Cambridge Certificate; Teacher of English as a Foreign Language; St Giles College, London, (1996) and a P.G.C.E in Post Compulsory Education; (Post Graduate Teaching Qualification) German and Spanish; University of Wales. (2000).
Why massage? To help someone relax, re-energise or repair. I have 2 massage qualifications: Diploma in Swedish Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, Western School of Massage, Scotland. (2005) and Diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage; Scottish Massage Schools (2006). I am also qualified to do Indian head massages.
Je parle français. Hablo espanol. Ich spreche Deutsch.
