Ben Nevis May

May included a couple of ascents of Ben Nevis one using the normal path up with a party of 7. We had a dry day but unfortunately it was a bit cloudy on top. Whilst descending we spotted a Golden Eagle.
Three days later the "Seniors Biggie" team of 6 ascended the Ben via the Carn Mor Dearg arete. It was a fantastic weather day and we had a great ascent:
The team were up to complete the 4,000 ft tops in the Uk, they got most of them and I feel they will be back to knock off the rest.
Here at beallich we have seen a wren and a bullfinch in the garden. Preparatory works for the new eco house continue. There is a website now for the house www.cairngormsecohouse.co.uk
